Classes for Adults
We have classes to fit the specific needs of the adult ballet student. With multiple class levels, our studio in Wayland brings the ballet barre close to the residents of MetroWest Massachusetts. Our classes pride themselves on offering a welcoming, supportive atmosphere - while some dancers have returned to class for many years, new dancers are always encouraged.

Class Descriptions
Adult Intermediate Ballet: This is a low-stress, intermediate-level recreational adult class with a full progression of barre, center, and traveling movements. All levels are welcome but the majority of students are often those who danced a lot as kids and took several years off. This class focuses on good technique and avoiding injury, while meeting adult dancers where they are. Registration is available for a full several week session or by single class drop-in.
Beginner Ballet for Adults: In this shorter length workshop session, we will explore the basic positions of the arms and legs, the musicality of both lively allegros and luxurious adagios, and the balance and stamina that is essential to the art and sport of ballet. This class is designed to provide a fun, supportive environment while working at a deliberate pace to build confidence when it comes to ballet fundamentals.
(Re)Intro to Ballet: Have you always wanted to try ballet or has it been awhile since you’ve taken a class? In this shorter length workshop session, we will explore the basic positions of the arms and legs, the musicality of both lively allegros and luxurious adagios, and the balance and stamina that is essential to the art and sport of ballet. Whether you’re new to the ballet barre or simply wishing to return, we will learn a lot in a fun, supportive environment! This workshop runs in 5 or 6 week sessions with some accumulation of material from one week to the next.
