Pre-Ballet/Preliminary (Age 4-6):
We explore the stories and music from classical ballets along with ballet-based songs that keep everything fun and interactive. We begin class with seated stretches and then progress to standing and traveling movements.
This class encourages individual accomplishment and the joy of dance, while also introducing the idea of taking direction from the teacher and sharing turns with peers. Students also receive basic instruction in rhythm, counting and tempo of music (with an emphasis on classical ballets). No prior experience necessary.
Students must be a minimum of 4 years old as of July 1, 2026.
